Hello Friend

I am stepping out in an unfamiliar world...blogging. I subscribe to blogs, I read blogs, I have often wanted to start writing one. I find myself wondering, what do I have to offer someone? What advise about life can I give?What lessons have I to pass on? I guess I will just write and see what comes of this new world.

Let me introduce myself. I am a simple woman, a mother, a concerned American, a pet owner, a homeowner, a gardener without a green thumb, a poet, a storyteller, a crafter, a little of everything jack-of-all-trades. I plan on blogging stories of my children, messes my dog gets into and how he gets out of them, designs I create, recipes I find interesting. Little trivial things really, somewhat boring, but maybe someone will find humorous and entertaining.

'Chewing my bubblegum' is part of a song from my childhood. 'Sitting on the fence post chewing my bubblegum, playing with my yo-yo.' Maybe it is time to jump off the fence post and stop yo-yoing around chewing on sweet nothings.  Maybe this blog will help me set some goals and keep me motivated to achieve success.
